Dear Resident Please find below this weeks beat blog Beat Blog – Shepshed (13th – 19th November 2025) Crime of Note: Attempted Burglary – Garendon Road: Two individuals were disturbed while attempting to gain entry. No entry gained, and nothing was stolen.Vehicle Crime – Harley Close: Number plates stolen from a motor vehicle.Burglary – Ringwood Road: An individual entered via an insecure back door, and property was taken.Arrest of Note: A male has been arrested on suspicion of burglary relating to the incident on Ringwood Road.Crime Prevention: This week we have been supporting Operation Sceptre, a national initiative to tackle knife crime. Please remember:- If you have concerns about knife possession, report it via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
- Secure your property and vehicles – lock doors and remove valuables from sight.
- Consider installing security lighting and CCTV where possible.
